    Hi

    The information shared is great. Thanks for posting it.

    I am facing a strange problem. I have a Samsung Monte S5620 in which I have been using Vodafone Sim. Phone has been working fine till yesterday when it suddenly started displaying message - "Limited Service".

    When I move my Vodafone Sim to any other phone, it works fine and When I put some other Sim to my Monte phone, then phone also works fine. But when I put my Vodafone Sim to the phone then it displays - "Limited Service" not allowing me to make/receive calls.

    Infact, even the network bars are also 5 in number confirming that the network is there. But I keep getting the message - "Limited Service".

    Could you guide me at this that why this could be happening and how can this be resolved.

    Try these steps.
    go to menu
    --> setting
    --> Network settings
    --> Network mode
    --> select GSM 900/1800.

    I face the same problem with vodafone.
    I realised that the sim was 2G and i was using 3G network (UMTS 900/2100)and because of this the phone showed limited service.
    I dont know any other solution to your problem.

      go to service centre, they will replace the motherboard of your phone and it is expensive. about Rs. 1500 to Rs. 2000

      go to setting, network setting then network mode and select "UMTS 900/2100" this should solve you problem.
